1 1/2 tlbs of cornmeal
1 (10 oz) can Pizza Crust (or homemade)
1 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup onion
1 (16 oz.) jar of sauerkraut, well drained
1 tlbs caraway seed
1 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 lb. Polish kielbasa, cut into pepperoni-like slices ( thicker if you prefer)
1 1/2 tlbs chopped fresh parsley (optional. Does make it pretty though)
2 tlbs slivered almonds.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease 12-inch pizza pan. Sprinkle pan with cornmeal. Unroll dough and place in pan. Spread dough out with hands. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded Swiss cheese. Bake for 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
While waiting, in medium saucepan cook onion on medium heat until slightly brown, stir often. Add sauerkraut and 1 tablespoon caraway seed. Simmer 2 minutes or until heated. Spread over partially baked crust. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, then kielbasa slices. Finish by sprinkling almonds and parsley over all. Bake at 425 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until crust is a deep golden color. Yield: serves 8
